More Japan Coverage from Wekfest SF 2012

This past weekend we headed up to the Bay Area for Wefkest SF by Weksos Industries. We’ve been to Wekfest LA but never to the original one in SF and we’ve heard so many things about it being an awesome show. I knew there’d be a lot of people but I never thought it’d be as crazy crowded as it was. I couldn’t even see the end of the line even with only a few hours left in the show! We had a really good time and would like to extend a big thanks to the guys at Weksos for throwing a fun event! Here are some of the pictures from the event! Enjoy!

FD Heart Transplant Part 1

As many of you know, I’ve got an FD RX7 that I love dearly. the car runs great, boosts strong and a get lots of looks and thumbs up every where I go in it. I decided to do what many RX7 purists believe is blasphemy and drop in a V8 in to the car but it’s something that I’ve been wanting to do for a while. My first love for cars growing up was always muscle cars and it’s an appreciation I still hold onto today. I decided now was the best time to do so since everything runs good and I could sell the parts and try and bring my net cost of everything down. I’m lucky enough to have two local friends that have done the swap already so they can help with any questions I may have. My friend Jaime was a HUGE help in pulling everything out as I’ve never done it before and he knows these cars like the back of his own hand. Here are some pictures of everything getting pulled out.

Evasive Motorsports Open House

We were invited to an open house at Evasive Motorsports this past Saturday. They had many of their time attack cars on display as well as some of their customer cars. The office was really nice as well as the shop area. It was wide open and just by walking in the place, you could tell that they mean business. Food was also generously provided to the many hungry attendees as Evasive brought it in a the Buttermilk Truck and a the Taco Dude. The food was delicious and we got to mingle with lots of other people in the industry. Thanks again to Evasive for the invite and the continued support!

Wekfest is coming up

On Sunday, February 19, 2012, one of the most influential car shows for the latest trends in the US, known as Wekfest, will be held in the city where it originated from, San Francisco. Wekfest car shows have earned their reputation through Weksos and their closely tied communities to bring you the hottest rides the nation has to offer. All cars that will be displayed on this day are put through a screening process by the Wekfest staff to ensure that all of them are of genuine quality. Sponsors and dealers will be available to meet with the consumer crowd and also show off their latest products and projects. And as always it is a great opportunity for all car enthusiasts to meet and see where the industry will be headed in the future. (You might even get to meet some of the More Japan staff there!)
