CFR Takes 3rd at Formula Drift Round 4: New Jersey
Congrats to Chris Forsberg and the CFR crews for another podium finish. Chris battled Daigo Saito for 3rd place and won. Decision was announced after judges claimed that Saito did a brake check or lift off throttle and caused a contact.

Kiddie Hybrid?
As kids we all day dreamed of someday being able to drive a car. Paul Leduc is one of those kids at heart. Taking a turbo-charged Dodge Colt, he cut off the top and sculpted a bumper car body over the original one, using foam, steel and Fiberglas. A half-inch-thick strip of rubber was donated and became the rubber bumper around the car’s base. A 10-foot copper pole with a hook at the top and a purple holographic metal-flake paint job completed the look.

Get mounted!
Are your engine mounts wearing out or broken? When factory engine mounts wear out, or on higher horsepower vehicles, engine torque causes the engine to move excessively, and place extra load on the exhaust system, hangars, transmission and transmission mounts. This can cause unnecessary vibrations, and can agitate welds to break.Reinforcing the engine mounts can improve shift feel and help prevent the shifter from jumping out of gear, or grinding on shifts. Chop it up!
Throwback Thursday. Remember when 9 seconds for an import was like first stepping on the moon? The iconic Tanabe/Signal Auto’s Chopped Civic achieved such a feat by beating most front wheel drive drag cars and immortalizing it in import drag racing history. The Chop Top Civic #1 ran a best of 9.97 sec. 1/4 mile. While the sibling Chop Top #2 ran a best of 9.74 sec. 1/4 mile.
