Coming up…Tanabe USA R&D

It’s time once again for Tanabe USA’s Research and Development Session. We are currently taking sign-ups for Fall 2013. If you’re interested in participating, please contact us! Here’s what we’re looking for:

Requirements:

  • Vehicle must be stock.
  • Vehicle must be local or driving distance from our office in Torrance, California.
  • Vehicle must be available for a minimum of 5 days.
  • No accidents.
  • Must be clean with minimal blemishes.

G35 Sedan Showcase GTG V Coverage 2013

This past weekend G35Sedan GTG V held their annual meet at Tanabe USA headquarters in Torrance, California. Although there was a variety of car events to attend this lovely weekend, the Infiniti G Sedan community came together as a reunion of sort and brought out some quality rides. Ninth Annual Japanese Classic Car Show.

The ninth annual Japanese Classic Car Show will be held this coming Saturday, September 29th at the Queen Mary in Long Beach. The show will start at 9 in the morning and end at 3 in the afternoon. There is always a very good collection of classic cars, many that you don’t see at other events so be sure to check it out!

SSR Executor Wheels

Spotted in an issue of Rimpedia, a Japanese magazine that features many wheels from luxury to performance, was this page highlighting the new SSR Executor wheels that were unveiled at the 2012 SEMA show: the CV01 and CV02! “Samurai made”!

The Iconic SSR Mesh wheel!

Today we pay homage to one of thee most iconic wheels (not just from SSR but in the Japanese wheel world) to ever be released. SSR’s Mesh wheel was available in two styles; Formula Mesh and Full Reverse Mesh. This wheel had style, class and for those of you that were lucky enough to own a set, a pain in the @ss to clean 🙂

They were discontinued years ago and if you happen to stumble upon a set for sale, you’re usually paying a pretty penny for them! Here are some images to give you an idea of what they’ll look like on both older and new platforms.
