Can you put 20 inches in your mouth?
When your boss brings you a stick of gum that’s almost 2 feet long, that doesn’t mean you have to stick it in your mouth all at once….

Autocon 2012
Hot like FIYA! I think those three words pretty much sum up Autocon 2012… this event was a tough one for me personally with having setting up and running the Tanabe/SSR booth as well as coordinating my team stuff. Organizing a group of 20 cars as well as running a vendor booth in the extreme heat really takes a toll on you. We got in at about 8am and it was already warm at that point. I heard temps throughout the day eventually went over 100 degrees! The lot was huge and provided ample space for the many patrons, vendors and cars on display at the event! We got a great spot right by the front entrance which was awesome and I’d like to thank Justin, Nate, Rene and the rest of the staff for throwing a great event!
Onto the pictures.. I didn’t get a chance to take as many pictures as I’d like but a few friends helped man the booth while I snuck away for a bit to snap some pics of all the cars. Looking at others coverages, I misses a lot of cars that I should’ve snapped but there was just so much going on, it was hard to take it all in (that’s what she said! Sorry, had to throw that one in there)
Congrats to all the winners and those that endured the heat throughout the day!
Here’s a pretty cool video coverage from the event also:

Flying Horse?!
Legend has it that the Mistubishi Starion was originally named “Stallion” to compete with the Ford Mustang here in the United States. Here is one example of this old school sports car on 14 x 8.5 Front and 14 x10 Rear SSR MK III wheels from Japan.
