You a ninja?!
A friend of mine recently told me about this new spot that’s pretty local to me so I decided to give it a shot. It’s called Super Curry. Japanese style curry spot that’s quick, clean and the food is pretty good. I’m not sure if it’s a chain, franchise or privately owned but I do love my curry! 🙂 I like how they call different things on their menu “ninja” this and “ninja” that! I’ve gone twice now and have yet to try the curry because their daily specials are a great deal and the pictures did their job in luring me in! If you want to try a new spot in Gardena/Torrance area, I suggest this place. The second time I went there they took my order wrong but no bid deal, I should’ve checked it before I left the spot. It was good nonetheless. New spot, with new employees, it’s bound to happen. I’ll keep going back.

Don’t ignore your daily driver!
So I’ve got a Toyota Matrix as a daily driver and let me tell you. I really do not take care of this thing. Aside from the regular preventative maintenance, as long as it runs good I really don’t care how it looks. But it has not seen a detail in I don’t even know how long. Drive through carwashes, parking it outside with the sun beating on it is not something that is good for your paint. By now my paint felt like 60 grit sandpaper even after a wash! my buddy Peter from TeamVitz Detailing said I should drop my car off for a detail so I agreed to it. It was something I’ve been meaning to do for a while but you all know how it goes.. we’re all to busy to take care of our cars. I think I gained more horsepower with this detail than I did adding the More Japan stickers!

FRS / BRZ gathering at Torrance Toyota
I recently heard from my friend Jeff from Micro Image that there was a meet going on at a local Toyota dealership so he asked me if I wanted to go with him. I was hanging out with another friend after a photoshoot on a Porsche 996 (which you’ll see at a later time) so the 3 of us decided to go along. Hopefully they’d accept two of us that were not an FRS or BRZ :). Got there and saw some nice cars and some uniquely modified cars. One thing that I thought was pretty messed up was that one of the sales man turned on a radio and blasted it in my ear when I was literally inches away from it. I though that was very rude.
Either way, I had a good time hanging out and talking with Moto-san from Club4AG and others that I met. There was a taco guy, music and even a jumper! One guy fell off and hit his head on the ground! Hope he was ok! I didn’t take too many pictures and they were all with my phone but there were 3 cars rocking SSR Wheels at the event!
