There’s just something nostalgic about seeing an old Japanese car on a set of mesh wheels. It’s like how a suite and tie complement each other in bringing out the professionalism of a person. Here we have a Nissan Laurel sitting on a rare set of SSR mesh wheels.

FIC Racing has now released more options for 5/100 wheel spacers due to the increase of this bolt pattern’s popularity. In addition to the 15mm spacers that were already available new 10mm and 20mm wheel spacers have been now been added to the 5/100 line up.
FIC spacers not only help give a flushed look but also widen the track of the vehicle. FIC spacers are also hub centric which reduce unnecessary vibrations and wear of the wheels. These spacers can be used with OEM and aftermarket wheels!

While browsing Speedhunters, I came across a few pictures of a Crown from the Excite King VIP Meet. This crown was so cleanly executed I had to share the pictures! It has an aggressive wheel fitment but often times in the US, you see cars that have mangled fenders or just something that’s not done right. This car had its fenders modified and body work was actually done to keep it looking clean. The Professor MS3 wheels really give it a nice look as well!

With Formula Drift making a stop at Atlanta, Georgia this weekend, we checked in with our sponsored driver, Chris Forsberg. Posted on his Instagram, we spotted a unique build amongst a crowd of race cars. Don’t be fooled, Chris’s 2010 Infiniti M35 is not your average family sedan. The “M56” custom badge was only fitting once a Nissan VK56DE 5.6L V8 was swapped in.

Chris is running SSR Professor MS1 wheels 18×9.5-inch (F) 18×11-inch (R)

Good luck to Chris Forsberg and his team at Round 2, Formula Drift in Atlanta this weekend.

Saw this on the internet and thought it was a cool idea. However, it probably won’t work with all the laser cut keys or key fob’s these days. Maybe someone will come up with a way of incorporating that somehow. Either way, cool project. Imagine trying to use this on a house key as someone walks by.

Saturday, May 4, 2013 marked the 18th annual ALL TOYOTAFEST at the Queen Mary in beautiful Long Beach, California. A sunny day with cold ocean winds brought plenty of people to look at the best in modified Toyotas, both old and new! It was nice to see many well-built traditional cars and also “old school” wheels that are now very rare and sought after. Here are pictures that we took at the event:

AutoCon held a pre-meet this year, so I took the time out to check it out. (Thanks again Jose for letting me tag along.) It was a decent turn out, with makes of all kind in attendence. Cars came and went as there were other events happening throughout the SoCal area that day. They even had a couple of food trucks in case attendees wanted something to munch on. Of course being held at K1, there was also something to do besides standing around. There was also a DJ, as well as a free raffle for people to participate in. Weather held up, which made it enjoyable to stick around.
Now on with the coverage.
