Top Gear’s The Stig vs Honda’s Asimo
Interesting video made by the people over at Top Gear. Here you’ll see a person with characteristics of a robot and a robot with characteristics of a human squaring off. Pretty cool concept to put them two together.

Autocon LA 2013 Coverage
Last weekend I went to Autocon LA and snapped some pics. Last year I went to the show with a booth for work and since I was there by myself, I really didn’t get to walk around at all. That, combined with 100+ degree weather and me wearing black jeans and button up made the show pretty unbearable. This year it was scheduled a little earlier but still pretty damn hot. I went there with my team instead so I was able to enjoy the show more. The weather was still pretty warm but there was a nice breeze throughout most of the day. This year’s event was pretty packed. Staging cars was pretty tough and many of the cars were parked door to door or bumper to bumper. Making it difficult at times to take pictures or even look at some of the details of the event. I guess it’s a sign that the show is growing in popularity.

The Porsche that RWB built
A couple of years ago Speedhunters featured a unique build by a shop named, RAUH-Welt Begriff (RWB). The build focused on a not-so-average Porsche Carrera, fitted with a widened GT2 Evo front bumper with overfenders on the rear and the front to match. Then, to compliment the aggressive look, a GT2 spoiler, stacked with a carbon GT wing was added. The whole look of the build was completed once a set of custom SSR Professor SP1’s was put on to match the track inspired look of the RWB built Porsche. Little did we know this was only the beginning phase of what was to come.
Below you will see a photo of the RWB Nakai-san built Porsche from before, as well as the current look. Both are amazing builds and stand in a class of their own. For more on the build, click the links below.

Tanabe USA 2013 Spring R&D is Underway!

Project Breezy Version 3.0
Our friend Rene recently had BRZ transformed yet again.
Version 1, SSR Professor MS3 Wheels, Tanabe Exhaust, suspension and Chassis parts
Version 2:Added an INGS kit and custom wrap with some carbon goodies
Version 3 : Added wide over fenders by ML24 and a custom teal paint and Recaro seats
Car looks great and can’t wait to see what’s in store for it next!

It’s JDM Yo’s “Just Doing Me Social” Celebrating III Years
A couple of weeks ago, ItsJDMYo.com had a little meet to celebrate their 3 years of blogging. It was a nice turn out. Weather held up and wasn’t too hot or cold. Cars came and left as they pleased but a majority of cars stuck around. Actually got to see some cars that rarely come out to events, which was a plus. They even had some food trucks and of course some entertainment with a DJ playing some old school jams. Check out the coverage!
