A couple of weeks ago, ItsJDMYo.com had a little meet to celebrate their 3 years of blogging. It was a nice turn out. Weather held up and wasn’t too hot or cold. Cars came and left as they pleased but a majority of cars stuck around. Actually got to see some cars that rarely come out to events, which was a plus. They even had some food trucks and of course some entertainment with a DJ playing some old school jams. Check out the coverage!

Remember those days when you were younger, spending hours messing around with legos trying to put something together. Well, someone by the name of Solde has taken it to a whole new level. Not only did he create a replica version of one of Toyota’s most popular engine but it actually functions. The engine which you will see in the video is the 4A-GE. This little engine earned must respect for its reliability and performance and became a popular choice for engine swap. Check it out!

For those who have not been informed on the Japanese “K”-car scene, they are compact cars that are very affordable and very accommodating for the narrow streets of Japanese metropolitan cities. Mainly used to just move people around short distances, they have recently gained huge popularity in the aftermarket culture with custom body kits, excessive lights, and custom leather interiors. Some kei cars are VIP styled like big body luxury sedans while others are more sports oriented (like the Cappuccino and Copen).
Although the scene is huge in Japan unfortunately there isn’t a market anywhere else for small compact cars, but nevertheless here are some that stood out to me in this issue of K-CAR magazine (and as it turns out, they have SSR wheels on!).
