You get to see the strangest things at certain liquor stores. I was visiting a friend who was on the day shift at a local liquor store in El Monte, CA when I came across something… awesome.
Gorilla Mocos, or gorilla snot/boogers, an oddly appealing brand of hair gel, somehow made it to the top shelf in the self-maintenance section. This funky monkey hair-styling product comes in a few different flavors of hair-holding strength, rated by the gorilla on the front-cover. The gorilla with the slicked-forward hair is a lower level, while the gorilla with the mohawk offers a beastly level of hair stylability.
Please take note that yes, every bottle shows a picture of a gorilla blowing snot rockets. :p
Later the same day, I went to a friend’s house and saw the same brand of hair gel in his bathroom! Are Gorilla Mocos the new in-thing!?
On a side-note, I had a chance to visit Mr. Pizza Factory in Korea Town, Los Angeles. It’s a hit-or-miss. This time around, it was a miss. 🙁 Make note that Mr. Pizza Factory is NOT to be confused with the delicious Damiano’s Mr. Pizza, also located in Los Angeles.
