Nissan has revealed that they have plans to compete in the FIA GT Championship with an R35 GT-R. This GT-R is built to FIA Specifications. Nissan has built this car with the help of Gigawave Motorsports and NISMO.
Since 4 wheel drive and turbos are not allowed in the class, Nissan decided to go with a 5,552 CC VK56DE that develops around 600 bhp. Using a Ricardo 6 speed transaxle and a 5.5” Carbon Triple Plate clutch, this car only is rear wheel drive. Car uses Carbon brakes and pads (6 pot front and rear).
